This site was originally authored by Luis Degado and THP volunteer Daniel Ryan. It was programmed by Jesus Valdez in Huaraz, Peru.

In 2008, THP volunteer Maree Blackburn significantly updated the site's text and photos. THP volunteer Caroline Clabaugh moved it to the Drupal content management system and to the new URL www.teachhuarazperu.org. THP volunteer Lillian Leigh provided editorial assistance and site review.
